AI Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

Nomadify uses AI to help you discover things to do — activity ideas, meetup themes, conversation starters. This page explains how that works, where it stops, and what we do (and don't do) with your data.

1. Where AI shows up in Nomadify

  • Activity ideas: suggestions for things to do in a given city, optionally shaped by your interests and context you provide.
  • Prompts and labels: AI may draft suggested titles or descriptions you can use when posting an activity. You can edit or discard them.

AI features are clearly labelled in the app. Anything you write in a chat, post in an activity, or send to another traveler is your own — not AI output.

2. AI suggestions are starting points, not advice

AI ideas can be wrong, out of date, or simply weird. They are not professional travel, safety, legal, medical, or financial advice. Always:

  • Verify opening hours, prices, and locations independently.
  • Check local laws and customs before doing anything you're unsure about.
  • Apply common sense and our Safety Tips when meeting people in person.

3. What we send to the AI

To generate an idea, we send the AI provider the minimum it needs: your request, the city or area, and any context you choose to share (like “low-budget,” “solo,” “food”). We don't send your private chats, your phone number, or anything from your contacts.

4. Training

We don't use your private chats or personal profile data to train AI models. We choose AI providers that contractually agree not to train their general models on the requests we send through our account.

5. Responsible use

Don't use Nomadify's AI features to generate hateful, harassing, deceptive, or unlawful content, to impersonate someone else, or to spam other travelers. Doing so is a violation of our Community Guidelines and can get your account removed.

6. Limits and changes

AI features may be rate-limited, may behave differently between updates, and may be gated behind Nomadify Plus. We may add, change, or remove AI capabilities as the technology and our app evolve.

7. Feedback

If an AI suggestion is wrong, unsafe, or just bad, tell us — it's the fastest way for us to improve. Email com3run@gmail.com.
